The Crystal Facial is a treatment of the purest energies for mind, body and soul. We use a choice of organic skincare products containing Frankincense, Rose, Neroli or Lavender to nourish the skin. We then combine facial massage with Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jade or Clear Quartz crystal wands to stimulate cell renewal and heal and re-energise the skin while promoting a feeling of well-being.

Celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Miranda Kerr and Gwyneth Paltrow rave about it. It's no surprise that it's my most popular facial.

Treatment Includes:

Discussion and consultation of your health, skincare needs, and goals with your therapist before your Facial.

Then, lying face up on the comfortable facial bed and under warm, soft blankets and sheets.

The treatment will begin with a full face cleanse, tone and exfoliation using a choice of organic natural skincare products containing Frankincense, Rose, Neroli or Lavender to nourish the skin as well as warm mitts throughout and a relaxing massage of the face using a series of therapeutic techniques in which simple pressure point massage is used to stimulate certain zones and points of the face with Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jade or Clear Quartz crystal wands to stimulate cell renewal, heal and re-energise the skin while promoting a feeling of well-being. As well as corresponding to specific meridians and chakras of the body, called reflex zones/Chakra points. Stimulating blood and lymphatic flow creates deep relaxation in the muscular system of the face as well as the nervous system. And help balance and harmonise the Chakras.

Finish with a broad spectrum SPF 30 to protect your skin from environmental, free radical, and UV damage after your relaxing facial. Hydrate and restore your skin to the natural health and nourishment it needs.

When the facial has ended you will be advised to take it slowly and to avoid the need to rush off to another appointment or something you need to do. It's highly recommended to book a facial either at the end of your day if you can and to avoid having to rush off to prior commitments, keep your diary clear after having this facial. Head home and benefit from the relaxing benefits of a facial. Drink plenty of water after your facial to keep the skin hydrated and nourished on the inside.

Please, if you can, avoid wearing make-up after your facial. It's best to leave the skin free from any make-up or any other extra products until the following day. This allows the skin to breathe and benefit from all the wonderful products that are still absorbed into the skin for the rest of the day.

Advice on skin health and your personal skincare goals may be given if needed and if you would like to receive it from your therapist after your facial.

A course of regular facials is highly recommended, and the use of products at home can help to protect the skin against ageing processes.

Hot Tips For Best Results Before Your Facial:

  • Give yourself plenty of free time before your facial and a lot of time free after your facial. Avoid having a busy schedule and having to rush off after your facial. Try and book your facial on a day off or at the end of the day, allowing plenty of time to get to your facial appointment time and ample time for you to relax back at home without the need to rush off anywhere, such as to the shops or to go back to work or to pick up the kids. Planning out the time is important to get the best results from your facial.

  • Avoid going to the gym, sauna, steam or any intense exercise after your facial; please do this before your facial at least 3 hours before

  • Book your massage before your facial

  • Avoid having a heavy breakfast, lunch or dinner at least 3 hours before your facial

  • Leave your jewellery at home if you can.

  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing for your facial that is easy to change in and out of.

  • Avoid wearing make-up, if you can. Come bare-faced so that your therapist can get a clean canvas to work on and can spend more time treating your skin. Especially any heavy, non-waterproof eye makeup, if possible. This will make your facial more relaxing and less intrusive around your eye area, as it will all need to be fully removed and will take up precious facial skincare time to treat your skin in the session time allocated. Plus any remnant of make-up on your skin can mix with the skincare ingredients in your facial and can cause a cluster of breakouts!

  • Avoid microdermabrasion and any retinol and glycol acid products or treatments at least a week before your facial.

  • Avoid exfoliation of your skin for at least a week before your facial

  • Do not tan or burn your skin near your appointment for your facial

  • Avoid any facial waxing or laser treatment of your skin, such as eyebrows, upper lip or chin areas, for at least 48 hours before your facial

  • Bring a list of your skin care products that you are using at home so that your therapist has all the information that she needs.

  • Avoid booking your facial near to a big event, i.e. the day before a wedding or special occasion. Book your facial at least 3-4 days before your event or special occasion to prevent any breakouts or skin flare-ups for your special day.

  • Think about your top skin concerns and your goals for your skin so that your facials can help you with specific treatments and recommendations if needed.

  • Feeling puffer than usual? Not sleeping well? Did you drink too much? Just back from a holiday, where you overindulge on holiday meals, tell your therapist, and they can customise your specific needs.

  • Avoid drinking any caffeine before your facial at least 24 hours before. This will allow you to feel more relaxed and allow your therapist to optimise your treatment and the benefits.

  • Drink plenty of water at least 48 hours before your facial to create optimal results in your facial treatment, by hydrating the skin internally, creating better results on the outside. Assisting with the removal of toxins will help your skin to be clear and radiant.

  • Facials are not fast fixers; that's why I always recommend a course of facials to maintain and keep skin healthy and toxin-free.

How Often Should You Get a Regular Crystal Facial?

To receive the maximum benefits from a Crystal Facial, it is recommended to undergo a minimum course of 6 treatments.

Having a treatment at least once a month or every 6 weeks is recommended. Your skin is doing different things depending on the season and your lifestyle. Your skin cell turnover cycle is every 28 days, so getting a professional facial once a month or once every 6 weeks will ensure you are getting the best treatment for your skin.

Making time for regular facials every 4-6 weeks helps to train your skin, helping to whip your skin and complexion into shape. Skin cells like routine and respond well.

Booking a course of facials is highly recommended if you have a specific skin care goal or issue or just wish to receive the benefit the skin and your well-being get from regular facials. Kelly offers courses from 3-6-9-12 sessions depending on your budget and goals. To book a course of sessions, please contact Kelly to find out more...
